The NIHR Horizon Scanning Centre has a code of practice and aims to work in an open, honest, impartial, transparent and efficient way that respects commercial sensitivities, to supply information that will ultimately benefit patients and the provision of health care within the NHS. Being based within a university enables us to add value by the continuous development and evaluation of the methods we use.
Confidentiality
The NIHR HSC recognises the importance of working with manufacturers and developers to identify and prioritise emerging and new health technologies and undertake to respect any confidential or commercially sensitive information you provide.
The NIHR HSC keeps an annual register of interests for each member of staff, and each staff member signs a confidentiality statement.
